Miraculous Ladybug is my second favorite show of all time! It is a very popular show right now, and I think it's great. A girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng lives in Paris, and her family owns a bakery. She was a normal high school girl until one day she found earrings and they changed her life. These earrings granted her powers, so basically, she had a kwami named Tikki, who powered her powers. Once she says Tikki Spots On, she turned into Ladybug. Ladybug's power is the power of Creation, so she can do almost anything with it! The only limit is the limit she puts on herself. Even though Marinette's the main character, we need to talk about another character that is also very important.
His name is Adrien Agreste had the same thing happen to him. Except instead of earrings he has a ring that lets him turn into Chat Noir! And you probably guessed he isn't a ladybug, he is a Cat. his kwami is Plagg, and he loves cheese. The words for Adrien to transform are Plagg Claws out. He holds the power of destruction.
The point of these superheroes is that a villain Hawk Moth now Shadow Moth got a hold of to miraculous, in other words, the Jewelry which a superhero has to wear to inherit their powers. he unified them and turned into Shadow Moth and is trying to get these superheroes miraculous to rule Paris and bring back his dead wife. The thing that twists the whole show up is that the villain is Adrien Agreste's Father! And Adrien is Chat Noir! Hawk Moth now Shadow Moth is able to control people when they are sad or mad and give them powers to destroy Paris. But so far he hasn't succeeded.
Ladybug and Chat Noir can never know their secret identities, but they do go to the same school. They just don't know it. Marinette has a crush on Adrien but doesn't know he is Chat Noir and doesn't know how to tell him, while Adrien likes Ladybug but doesn't know that she's Marinette.
