The Tale of Witchcraft

A Tale of Witchcraft is the second book of A Tale of Magic. I personally really liked this book because it didn't just focus on the main character of the book, Brystal. It also focused on another character named Lucy. Lucy has always been a bit different with her magical abilities compared to the fairies that surrounded her. She has always felt like an outsider before she was brought up to Madame Weatherberry, but even when she did join the magical community she still felt different. It didn't stop her friends from making her feel like she was their family like she belonged.     Anyways, this is set when Madame Weatherberry is still in the frosty mountains of the Northern Kingdom, stuck in a huge block of ice. Brystal had kept the whole Madame Wetherberry and the Snow Queen a secret from all of the other members of the fairy council. She has always felt like it would crush their souls knowing that the lady who taught them about their magical abilities, and that it wasn't something that needed to hide or keep secret was the cause for hundreds of lives being taken away from mostly innocent people. This was a huge burden on Brystal, still, she did what she needed to protect her friends.
Brystal has been having a lot of stress build-up, especially since the Righteous Brotherhood started to rise. The Righteous Brotherhood consisted of 333 men. Their positions were passed on by their fathers. Every firstborn son of a member of the clan's family would inherit the position to be a part of the Brotherhood. The Righteous Brotherhood was secret, so secret members couldn't even know each other's faces. They had to wear their masks during meetings and missions, and they couldn't reveal their identity or tell anyone about the Righteous Brotherhood. The Righteous Brotherhood believed that magic was cured and absurd. They wanted to get rid of it, demolish it. And they were able to once before, but since magic was the reason the Snow Queen was gone and not hurting anyone, the world started to accept the magical beings. This was against what they believe in, so they were going to make sure the magical community would never come back.
Brystal was also dealing with another problem. Very recently, she started to feel somewhat negative. Voices in her head would make her believe that she wasn't good enough and that she shouldn't keep trying. She also felt almost empty. She was surrounded by those who love and care about her, but she still wasn't content. She didn't know what was wrong with her, but it was definitely putting her mood down. She was having a bit more of a temper, and she didn't know what else to do.
On top of that, the fairy territory had a little visit. A large skull-like vehicle with spider legs sticking out the side started to bang against the protective dome that lay over the fairy territory, so only magical beings were able to enter. Once they did, the people inside started to introduce themselves. They came from the school of Witchcraft, asking for volunteers to join their school. No one dared to go, accept one little girl, a girl who meant a whole lot to Brystl, Pip. Pip was like Brystal's younger sister, and she left with people that she doesn't even know. She was sad, and heartbroken.
But, what will happen when Lucy finds out about Madame Weatherberry's situation. What will happen when the Righteous Brotherhood grows to power. What will happen when Brytal falls in love.
