Minions 2: The Rise of Gru

Minions: The Rise of Gru, has to be one of the most enjoyable, funny, and heartbreaking movies I have ever seen in my whole entire career of watching Minions, and Despicable Me. We have seen three movies about Gru in his older years, and one movie about how the minions first found Gru as their leader, but we've never seen a show of how Gru really became a despicable villain, starting from July 1, we finally got to see that!
At this point in the timeline, Gru has already found the minions to be his servants, henchman, minions, if you will. It is not like Gru treats them badly though. Gru is seen as a weird kid in school because he wants to be a super villain, and has really no friends. The only people that listens, talks to, and respects Gru has to be the Minions.
Gru's idols were the vicious six, the best super villains in history. Their latest mission was to get a special stone, that on the night of Chinese New Year would unleash powers to make them the most powerful thing in existence. They wanted villains to rule, and anyone who tried to stop them to get out of their way. While on their mission for the stone, the leader of the Vicious Six, Wild Knuckles, was overthrown as a leader simply because he was aging.
The Vicious Six, well now the Vicious five decided to try to kill Wild Kickles, little did they know that he was still very much alive and well.
Because of the Vicious Six now not having a sixth member, they were holding interviews to see who would be the newest addition to the best super villains in the world would be. Gru, even though just being an Elementary school kid, decided to take his chances and go to the interview. But, the five villains before him just laughed, saying that a little kid could never be a good super villain.
This made Gru's blood boil, so while the next interview was happening, he stole the precious stone that would give the villains ultimate power.
Gru's minions were helping him along the way, but the villains were on his tail. The stone ended up getting misplaced by one of his minions, and the minion that lost it named, Otto, was going crazy trying to find it. Wild Knuckles found that capturing Gru was his opportunity to get the stone and get revenge on the others who betrayed him.
Wild Knuckles soon, however, realized how lonely he was, and decided to train Gru to become a mastermind villain. They overthrew they fought the Vicious Six, or Vicious Five if you will, and brought them to Justice.
Wild Knuckles was a criminal though, and people were still after him, that's why he faked his death and escaped with Gru by his side.
