I LOVE this show! So much to the point where I was able to watch it in the first two days of even knowing it existed! Seraph of the End is really interesting and I definitely recommend it! The main character Yu lived with an unloving family. To the extent where her mother committed suicide because she thought that her son was a demon child and her dad tried to murder him. If that wasn't bad enough the end of the world came. Something happened and everyone over the age of 13 died. Yu was still under the age of 13 and went to an orphanage because of his parents.
He was able to find some new friends there who he was able to call family. But once all the adults started to die, the vampires came out. They started to put humans in little towns with poor conditions to use as their livestock. You see vampires fed and got energy from human blood, so keeping them around like animals on a farm was the best way to do just that.
Yu, his best friend Mika, and the rest of his family that he found in the orphanage found a way to escape but then it ended horribly. Everyone was killed except for Yu who was able to escape and Mika who became a demon, unwillingly of course.
Mika escapes and runs into some humans who help him and get him to some human civilization. The people that helped him were part of this army that tries to get rid of vampires and demons. Yu was able to get into that army too after four years, now being in high school. He wants to avenge his family and tak3e down the vampires, but little does he know that Mika is still alive, as a vampire. Mika always knew that Yu survived and even as a vampire hoped that he would stay safe.
Yu joins his squad, who are people that mainly help in fights and battles, who he later considers his family.
This show is super interesting to me, and I believe many people will like it too!
