Assassination Classroom is a great show, and is probably one of the most interesting ones I have ever watched! I mean just by looking at the picture you could probably think what is that yellow thing? Well, I'm sure you'll be surprised to know that thing is actually a high school teacher in one of the top-rank schools in Japan! Well, there is obviously a lot of a story behind this, so let me explain.
That yellow, octopus, mutation, thing, who people call Kurro Sensei, blew up half of the moon. Now there is only one sliver left! He plans to do the same for the earth and destroy everything and everyone. The government obviously go their hands on him, but couldn't find a way to do any sort of physical damage to him. The only thing the Kurro Sensei wanted to do was be a teacher. So they let him. He became a teacher for a school, and the class he taught was the E class.
The E class is probably the worst class you could ever get to because that means that you are either really bad at your schoolwork, or they couldn't tolerate the way that you behave. The main character, Nagisa, landed in that class. Not because of bad behavior really just because his grades were dropping.
You are probably wondering, "Why would the government just let go of something that is about to destroy the earth?!" Well, let me explain. The government couldn't figure out anything so they put him to work. So if the students find a way to kill Kurro Sensei they get 5 billion dollars, but they only have until the end of that year. If they don't figure out anything before graduation the whole earth would become bits and pieces floating around in space. The students also get help from the other two teachers who are top assassins. While the students try to kill Kurro Sensei, they are also being trained to become assassins.
The students really love Kurro Sensei as a teacher though! He is really good with the students and is really intelligent. But the students do need to figure something out or else the earth would explode!
The students don't only face the problem of trying to kill Kurro Sensei, who is basically invincible, but they also get into problems outside of school. Because Kurro Sensei is so valuable given he is an invincible yellow monster, many people try to target the kids to get their hands on the teacher. They also have to go through the trouble of having to face all of the other classes. You see, only e class was given this assignment. No other classes know about it, and the students can't tell anyone, not even their family. Because they are in E class, they are given off as the "dumb kids" in the school. Little do the other students know that they are pretty much the most intelligent kids there! since most people look down on them, the E class needs to find a way to bring themselves to the top!
Now let's talk a little bit about the main character Nagisa. Nagisa is a short boy that looks a lot like a girl. Later in the first season, you will start to see he has a real talent for being an assassin. He doesn't stand out too much in his class. He is never the worst but is never really the best. He is strong physically and mentally. He is kind and caring. Pretty much anything that you could ever imagine from the main character! Nagisa tends to write down a lot of notes about Kurro Sensei, in case they find any weak points that they might be able to use to their advantage. He also is a big part when it comes to coming up with plans to beat Kurro Sensei, With his notes and thinking, the students have an easier time making up plans.
All in all, this is probably one of my favorite shows! Honestly, I like every show I have ever watched! This show is very interesting, and I think that a lot of other people will like it too!
