This is probably one of my favorite shows! It takes place more in historical times and also has a manga to it. Ciel Phantomhive is the main character whose parents passed away in a fire. The fire burned down his house, but they rebuilt it. His parents were RICH, and he lived in a huge manner. When Ciel's parents died he had to take over their company and the manner at a really young age. He also summoned a demon one day to become his butler. The butler has a contract with him that he will be his butler, and will protect him under all costs. Ciel lives in England and is the queen's watchdog. So basically, he does some detective work for the queen, and this gives him a bunch of daring adventures.
Ciel and his Demon Butler, Sabastion, have to work with Grim Reapers, and people from the Underlands a lot of the time to figure out who is behind of a lot of the cases that they need to work on. A cool fact is that Ciel, being the queen's watchdog, is targeted so often that his servants were hired to be like personal servants to protect him and the manner.
Also, at the end of episode 2, Ciel becomes a demon! After he actually gets turned into a demon he looks like the same old human but he isn't. But, he never did anything demon-like, probably because he was born human.
This is a great show to watch if you are into a lot of guns, blood, and whatnot. And I 100% recommend.
