Squid Games

 

    If you watch a bunch of tik tok, or you just like to keep up with the latest trends you may already know about Squid Games. It is a Korean show that recently came out in English and it is the top show on Netflix right now. But if you do not like horror things, please do not watch this. This show is about a guy who lives with his mom. He has gotten a divorce and his daughter doesn't live with him, so he can only see her on special occasions. Then he soon found out that his daughter, his ex-wife, and her step-father are moving to America. He doesn't want this to happen at all and desperately needs money so they could maybe stay in Korea. He was at a train station when a man in a suit came up to him and asked if he wanted to play a game. If he won, then he could win thousands of dollars right there and then. But if he loses then he would have to give back the exact same money to him. Obviously, he lost the first time. So the mysterious person in the suit said that he doesn't need to pay unless he gets to slap him in the face as many times as he loses. Obviously, the main character gets slapped in the face, probably 30 times, until he finally wins the game. He gets the money and the man in the suit gave him a card. He said he can win up to 22 billion dollars just by calling the number and entering the game. At first, the main character was a little hesitant to join until he finally decides to. At night a car picked him up, but then wired smoke appeared and he fell right to sleep. Then he woke up in a bright room full of a bunch of other people, 456 in total. They were all wearing these blue pants and a blue jacket, and everyone's jacket has its own number on it. They had guards dressed in bright orange jumpers, and masks that were armed with weapons showed them to their first game. But what most people didn't realize was, if you lose the fame, you aren't just losing and not getting the money, your life is taken with it. up to 200 people died within the first game.
